Leslie, Georgia Ghost Tales


You may well think that Leslie, Georgia is just like any other settlement in the United States of America, but when the dark shadows of the nighttime move in the living dead invade. There have been scores of meetings with ghosts from the other side. Folks who have never spent the night in this municipality will say to you it's all just superstition, but with so many spirits in Leslie you have a pretty fine chance of setting eyes on one if you spend the night here.

The spirit of a young-looking gentleman dressed in a coat has regularly been made out in a mirror in a Leslie home; the ghost was exclusively perceptible in the mirror. In any case, this is a horrible ghost that you don't want to come across before sunrise.

A decapitated gentleman is regularly made out by The Pit searching for a shoe. Several of the folks who live here argue this spirit is probably the tormented spirit of a resident who used to dwell here in Leslie.

    with her right arm and left leg removed is rumored to have been observed on a small number of instances drifting by on Dry Branch Creek before dawn. It has been argued that this precise ghost is the undeceased spirit of an old Leslie local resident.

The ghost of a guy holding a bloody sword can be noticed time and again staring at the water
  by Browns Millpond Dam at midnight. Whatever folks verbalize, it in all certainty is a chilling spirit that any commonsensical person wouldn't wish to meet.

An armed forces outfit strolling about lacking a body in it has sometimes been observed chatting into the night on the shore of Browns Millpond. If you talk to the locals, this ghost is that of a person who resided here in Leslie some time ago. One thing is for certain, this ghost certainly is frightening; one that you shouldn't go seeking.
