One would imagine that there's nothing peculiar about Lexington, Georgia, but this town has creepy riddles masked in the dark. The ghost of a flight attendant is known to have been seen on many occasions flinging boulders into the current at Brooks Creek at the stroke of midnight.

The ghost of an aged Indian chief may occasionally be seen dragging a cadaver across the ground in Lexington Historic District around midnight. In any event, it is unquestionably a menacing spirit that is better not disturbed.

The ghost of an aged cleaning lady was spotted looking at the water by Brooks Lake Dam late in the night. When the eye witness came into sight the phantom ran away. Residents here argue that this ghost enjoys startling foolhardy
 
    folks who have the guts to interrupt the silence in Lexington.

The ghost of a youthful female clad as a maid showed up monitoring the landscape from the highest spot of Big Mountain late in the night. The arrival of the eye witness alarmed the phantom who then faded away.

The ghost of a down-and-out gentleman was observed trying to say
  something down a desolate road in the vicinity of Lexington at midnight. The phantom talked about avenging a homicide. A local declares that this ghost could be the spirit of a person who lived here who passed away here in Lexington many years ago.
