The ghost of a security guard with a bullet hole in his forehead may once in a while be seen holding a human headbone by Boggy Gut Creek.   Based on what the local residents claim, this ghost is the undeceased spirit of an old Matthews resident. The phantom of an elderly man with a large white beard was distinguished enjoying the panorama at Davis Pond Dam very late at night. The spirit did not appear to be anxious by the bystanders. The ghost of a guy wearing a military uniform emerged at the stroke of midnight crawling out of Gun Pond drenched in mud. When the ghost was noticed it vanished into the thin air. An old knight's armor devoid of a person inside was seen in a secluded place next to Matthews. The ghost was gobbled up by the night after being observed. One thing is for guaranteed, this ghost certainly is bloodcurdling; one that any wise person wouldn't want to run into.
