Been under and on top of the bridge, I didn't know the place was ''haunted''. Nothing interesting happened except sliding down the hill lol. This was around 1 am. Submitted by Haji Category: bridge
I lived on Dailey Mill Rd for 13 years and the whole time I lived there I saw and heard many strange things! To the point of Union Soldiers, Indian Squaws, to just plain strange. One night my friend and I were home alone and heard people running around and beating on the house. We would always get woken up by people talking , never really ever being able to make out the conversations until one night my mother heard and saw a Union Soldier talking to his Superior Officer asking him what he needed to do? Strange I know, I myself almost didn't believe it till it happened to me! We had this clown that hung on a swing, next to the mirrors in our dining room, well my family was sitting at the table one night and the clown just started swinging and turned towards the window as if looking outside!

Needless to say the clown came down and now I have a fear of clowns!!! We also had an encounter with a man jumping over our fence , but no man was really there! My niece also saw a figure running through our field, that wasn't there. We began to notice little things around the house that we didn't do or move. Got woken up by hearing people screaming.

I believe that house was haunted in some shape form and fashion!!!. Submitted by anonymous Category: home
Me and some friends went and walked the train tracks tonight which is June 23, 109 years from when the train wreck happened but we saw nothing. My friend lives right beside the square and she has claimed to see that man in the hat. She has seen him in and outside her house. She describes him as the man in the top hat. Me and my friends walked over, and under the bridge at Camp Creek, some remains of the old brick bridge are still there, but we discovered nothing out of the ordinary. Submitted by JJ Category: bridge
I have been living in the McDonough Ga area for at least nine years. I have experienced paranormal activity in my home with smells and EVPS. One is a little girl that sneezed and said, ''Dusty'' and also heard conversations
|
that involved two men and one woman speaking. I can't seem to understand their conversation. I have investigated at last count at least twelve homes so far in my neighborhood. They have some kind of paranormal activity in their homes and also outside of their property. Local residents that live near the McDonough Square area claim that it might be related to the ''Camp Creek Train Wreck'' that occurred in June 23, 1900. I also believe that the town has a beautiful and rich history to it. That might be the reason that visitors that come to town stay a little longer than they want to.
