Mineral Bluff, Georgia Ghost Tales When I was 14 I wanted to stay all night with my aunt Kay. So a friend who lived near my aunt offer to drop me off. As we turn left at HOT HOUSE BRIDGE, off Mineral Bluff HWY., My friend stop the car and tried to kiss me, I tried to make him stop. ALL at once the trunk flu open and then it would slam down. this happened over and over, it slammed so hard, the car would shake.  We were scared. We took off, he drop me off. To this day I believe it was the ghost of my grand dad Claude Bell, who had own the land. HE WAS PROTECTING ME! . The spirits of this municipality don’t leave anyone unterrified. A number of local residents say these tales are lies, but there beyond doubt are bloodcurdling things taking place here in Mineral Bluff during the moonlight hours. These are some of the spooky things that have       happened here recently. The ghost of a guy with satanic symbols cut into his back was observed late in the night marveling at Hogback Bend. The spirit spoke of revenging a murder. One thing is for certain, this spirit unquestionably is menacing; one that you would not want to bump into before sunrise. The spirit of the driver   of a train appeared piling bricks at Blue Ridge Dam at night. The eye witness panicked and fled. Whichever way, this is a bad ghost that you shouldn't go seeking. The ghost of an appallingly mangled huntsman hauling a dead mountain lion was observed at the water at Blue Ridge Lake obliterating a picture. The ghost did not appear to be anxious by the witnesses. One of the locals steadfastly asserts that this ghost is that of a local resident who dwelled here in Mineral Bluff some time ago. In any case, it's a chilling ghost that is better not disrupted.
