It was 1989, my father was stationed at Moody AFB GA. My family lived in base housing. I was only 5 years old so naturally I was a little afraid to sleep on my own. It was around midnight, I was laying in bed with my bedroom window open. A slight breeze blew into my room lifting the window curtain into the air. Suddenly, two figures appeared from behind the curtain. One of the figures appeared to be a man elegantly dressed, the other a woman who was equally elegant. The man turned bowed to the woman, the woman took the mans hand and nodded. The two then proceeded to dance a waltz of some sorts around my room. I felt a rush of terror sweep over my body, I was speechless. I couldn't even let out a shriek. I jumped out of bed and ran into my parents room. I climbed into their bed and buried my head under their covers. My parents must of been in a deep sleep because my presence went unoticed. I peeked from underneath the covers to see if the figures had followed me into my parents room, sure enough they were dancing around my parents bed too. I buried

my head once again, I then peeked my head out of the covers for the last time, the figures were now gone. Shortly after that experience my father recieved orders to move to Ramstein AFB Germany. I was eager to move by that time. I wouldn't experience this type of event until years later when our family lived in Aviano AFB Italy. Thats another story!.
