Omaha, Georgia Ghost Tales


The daylight hours in Omaha, Georgia are the same as daylight hours anywhere else, but this town is haunted by the undead when the sun has gone below the horizon. A lady's body having a donkey's head is rumored to have been noticed on a few occasions studying Providence Canyons in detail at
 
    night. Whichever way, this is a nasty ghost that any reasonable person wouldn't wish to bump into.

A partly decomposed human body may occasionally be witnessed down by the water at North Glory Hole mounding stones. Several of the residents declare this ghost is the stressed soul of a long gone Omaha local resident.

A lady afire, clutching
  a gas bottle was perceived enjoying the view at Halliday Lake Dam very late at night. The spirit saluted the bystander. If you listen to the locals, this phantom is the phantom of a vacationer that was killed while passing through Omaha some decades ago.
