In July 2007 my husband (now my ex) my little girl who was 6 and I (who was pregnant) moved into a brand new house on Anna Avenue in Palmetto. We were all asleep. In the master bedroom in the dark I heard footsteps like those of a child.
I assumed it was my little girl. I turned on a dim light and there was a little girl standing at the foot of my bed with a ragged dirty dress on. In my stupor half asleep I said Charmaine is that you? ...
said nothing just stared really creepy. I recognized it was not my daughter and was afraid. She suddenly pointed toward the window facing the back yard.
I looked and there was a scene of an old black man with a straw hat pushing a plow or something, his back was sweaty and the sun was out like it was really hot which was strange since it was night time.

I looked back to where the little girl was standing.. She was gone. I will never ever forget that. Someone mentioned to me that there was a Cotton Plantation in Palmetto near where we lived...creepy.
