Folks here assert that this spirit is probably the undeceased spirit of a person who used to live here in Pitts. The ghost of a dreadfully scorched woman has been said to have been made out on a handful of occasions taking a rest on a couch in a residence near Pitts. One of the folks who live here strongly alleges that this ghost is the undeparted soul of an old Pitts local person.
