Ray City, Georgia Ghost Tales When I was stationed at Moody AFB GA in 2003 I lived in a trailer on park street. One day my husband had late duties and I was home alone. I went to take a shower and I had an intense feeling of fear come over me. That's when I heard something. It freaked me out and I jumped out of the shower and locked the bathroom door. I could here something outside the door breathing deeply. Then it started banging on the door and screaming. It stopped suddenly and when I came out of the bathroom there was nothing there and my front door was still locked. I called my supervisor and made him pick me up and let me stay at his place until my husband came home. From time to time the feeling would overcome me until we moved out. Paintings jump around, noises coming out of nowhere. A number of folks who live here declare there are no phantoms,       but anyone who has stayed overnight in Ray City, Georgia knows better. These are some of the spooky things that have happened here recently. A female with an axe sticking out of her head became visible enjoying the view at Peters Lake Dam before dawn. This individual ghost has been seen over and over again in this place.   Folks who have observed this ghost say this ghost gets pleasure from terrifying people who come seeking ghosts in Ray City. No matter what, it's a frightening ghost that should be kept away from. A knight's armor from the middle ages devoid of a person inside was witnessed drifting by on Alligator Run before dawn. There have been many stories involving this ghost in the area. A man who lives here alleges that this ghost might be a well-known past inhabitant of Ray City.
