Statenville, Georgia Ghost Tales

THERE IS A cemetery DOWN A COUNTRY ROAD HERE THAT IS VERY OLD. I WAS WITH A COUPLE OF MY FRIENDS AND WE DECIDED TO GO DOWN THERE RECENTLY. WE HAVE BEEN HEARING RUMORS ABOUT THIS CERTAIN GRAVEYARD FROM A FEW OTHER LOCAL FOLKS., AND OUR PARENTS. WE CHECKED IT OUT AND WENT RECENTLY, AND WE ALL GOT TO THE MIDDLE OF THE cemetery. WE HUNG OUT THERE FOR A WHILE AND THEN DECIDED TO WALK AROUND. WE STAYED TOGETHER AND AT ONE POINT WE COULD HAVE SWORE WE ALL HEARD A CHILD CALL FOR MOMMY AT LEAST 2 TIMES. THERE WAS 5 IN OUR GROUP. ALSO THERE WAS OTHER SOUNDS. OTHER PEOPLE HAVE SEEN STRANGE LIGHTS IN THERE AT NIGHT.

By daylight you could believe Statenville, Georgia is precisely like any other municipality, but when the spooky shadows of the night roll in the living dead appear. The undead are here in this city as the folks who live here will report to you. Several folks who live here assert there are no spirits, but anyone who has spent a night in Statenville, Georgia knows better.

These are some

of the spooky things that have happened here recently.

The ghost of a youthful woman outfitted as a maid can be made out very often around midnight looking across Georgia Sink.

The spirit of a homeless man has now and then been spotted reflecting by Half Way Branch. Any which way, this is a nasty ghost that is better not interrupted.
