The ghost of a man in a police uniform has supposedly been noticed on a small number of instances by Ashpole Creek staring. Some people argue this spirit is the undeceased soul of a long dead Taylorsville person who lived here.

The ghost of a security guard with
a bullet hole in his forehead can every now and then be seen glancing at the panorama from the summit of Hodge Mountain in the early morning hours. It's been asserted that this particular ghost is the ghost of a visitor that was killed while traveling through Taylorsville many years ago.
