(4) my mother the other likely candidate was almost always passed out drunk downstairs on the couch. Had she been walking it would not have been a regular thumping sound rather a staggering drunk sound (I'd heard her enough times to know the difference).
(5) often I heard a dogs' toenails clicking on the tile floor below and once felt a small dog jump on my bed curl up and go to sleep. I noticed then that my own dog was asleep on the floor by me

and hadn't moved an inch. I finally realized that the footsteps had to be paranormal in nature as there was no other plausible explanation. The footsteps
|
were the only thing I ever picke d up on. Perhaps there may have been other things I missed due to the chaos I was living in. But the footsteps I'm totally convinced of. I've often wondered since then if the people who lived there after us (I lived there from '79 to '87 or '88 at latest; 5 when we moved in 13 when we moved out) ever had any experiences and who or what is walking the halls of my old house?
