Tybee Island, Georgia Ghost Tales In the summer time it is impossible not to see someone sunbathing, walking, fishing or wading in the Atlantic ocean at Tybee Island, Georgia. The beach is beautiful, and the lighthouse on Tybee Island attracts many tourist. There have been numerous reports for the last eighty to ninety years of a beautiful ghost girl with long brown hair wearing a pale pink negligee seen near the lighthouse, or standing on the beach looking out over the ocean. The beautiful ghost is only seen on foggy mornings, and she has tears streaming down her face. If you try to talk to her or get near her, she will disappear in       a mist sobbing softly. Each time the beautiful ghost is spotted, shrimp boats are loaded down with shrimp when they dock. You can see her flowing in white late at night anywhwere from the light house on the beach going toward the pier. If by road, go past royal palm inn and to the second walkway to the beach and go towards light house or set on swing you will here moans and sometimes see her floating all in white.
