Woodbury, Georgia Ghost Tales Bought old homeplace in 2005. Cold, cold chills in front bedroom in July, August. Old timey phone rings,and rings. Someone playing a flute - xmas tunes - Corks pop and milk tops pop - for no apparent reason. Two orbs floating side by side from hall, to dining room and through wall in kitchen!!!! There have been scores of events with individuals from the other side. Folks who have never stayed overnight in this city will surely tell you it's all myths, but not a hundred percent of the natives of Woodbury are quite alive. These are some of the spooky things that have happened here recently. The ghost of a lady having half her head missing can frequently be seen gazing at the sight from       the peak of Betts Mountain at night. A character with a skeleton face having on murky robes may be made out repeatedly glancing across The Cove very late at night. Residents who have spotted this ghost say this ghost is the ghost of a traveler that was killed while traveling through Woodbury some time ago. A wandering ghost has every   now and then been perceived by Adcock Dam on a dark night looking at the water. The ghost of a plane pilot is now and then witnessed after midnight admiring Dripping Rocks.
