De Kalb, Mississippi Ghost Tales WHEN I WAS 16 I MOVED TO DEKALB FROM CHICAGO. MOST OF MY RELATIVES LIVE HERE. MY GRANDMOTHER AND MY UNCLE WHO I WAS LIVING WITH AT THE TIME WHERE LIVING IN A TRAILER NEXT TO A GARBAGE DUMP. THE LAND SHE WAS LIVING ON WAS OWNED BY THE THEN LIVING MR. STAN SCOTT. MY GRANDMOTHER GREW UP WITH HIM AND HIS WIFE. WELL TO GET TO THE EVENT. I WAS WALKING THROUGH A FIELD THAT WAS BEHIND MY GRANDMOTHER'S TRAILER. I WAS ON MY WAY TO MY AUNT HAZEL'S TRAILER. MID-WAY THROUGH THE FIELD I HAD AN URGE TO LOOK AROUND AND SAW AN IMAGE OF ME WALKING IN THE OPPOSITE DIRECTION. I TURNED BACK AROUND AND STOPPED IN MY TRACKS. I LOOKED BACK AROUND AND THE IMAGE WAS GONE. IT HAD ON THE SAME BLUE AND WHITE JOGGING PANTS, THE SAME #19 BLUE AND WHITE SLEAVLESS FOOTBAL JERSEY, SHOES AND WAS THE SPITTING IMAGE OF HOW I LOOK. TO THIS DAY I AM STILL WONDERING WHAT THAT WAS.
