Hernando, Mississippi Ghost Tales    This picture was taken at the VFW in Hernando Mississippi.  The Girl in the photo lives in what we call the spookhouse.  We believe her house is haunted and the ghost must have followed her to the VFW. - Ghost picture submitted by PKelly BIGGER SIZE PICTURE HERE       Category: home My house is haunted with the spirits of two men.  One is named William and one is named Henry.  I have spoken to them and have seen them at least one time each week for about 15 years.  They are friendly. I have never felt threatened by them.  Both appear to be mid 50's and from the the early 1900's.  I actually enjoy having them in my home. I do not want them to leave. Things occur here that can't be rationally explained. A number of residents say these testimonies are not true, but Hernando is jam-packed with tormented souls just waiting to give you a good scare. These are some of the spooky things that have happened here recently. The ghost of a hobo is from time to time perceived looking at folks in a Hernando flat through a peephole. The ghost of a young woman       drenched in blood may sometimes be observed at Banks Land and Cattle Company Pond Dam late in the night looking at the vista. The ghost of an aged sorceress was distinguished in a secluded spot near Hernando. The viewer freaked out and escaped. A man with a sizeable hole through his chest was perceived in the middle of Cane Creek struggling   to capture something. The ghost saluted the viewer. A lady's body with a skunk's head appeared reasoning in Arkabutla State Waterfowl Refuge very late at night. When the ghost was seen it disappeared into the air. A local resident says that this ghost enjoys startling unwise people who are bold enough to disrupt the serenity in Hernando. In any case, it certainly is a menacing ghost that is better not disturbed. A partly decayed human dead body was spotted next to the water at Hernando Point startling people. The ghost was ingested by the air after being distinguished. Regardless of what, this ghost unquestionably is frightening; one that you don't want to run into at midnight. A female in flames, holding a petroleum tank was noticed waving to cars beside a shadowy road next to Hernando. When perceived the ghost approached the witness who then escaped. No matter what folks utter, this is a horrible ghost that any rational person wouldn't want to come across. The ghost of a youthful air force pilot has often been distinguished dispatching a package at a Hernando post office.
