A majority of the time I can talk to them they don't want to scare us they just are scared and want to go ''into the light''. Submitted by Shelby       Category: In 1982, I lived in an antebellum house in Holly Springs.  Every morning at 3 a.m., exactly, I would be awakened by the sound of a crying baby.  I later learned the     house was built in 1843 and that a child had died in the part that had been converted into my apartment., in 1849.  I soon moved out but still drive by sometimes out of curiosity to see if anyone else lives there now.  The owner lived in another wing and lived there until she died a few years ago at age 103.
