The ghost   of a physician with a bloody uniform was spotted facing the viewer at Brinkley Lake Dam around midnight. This ghost is extremely active in this area; there have been a small number of additional sightings of this particular ghost. According to what the locals allege, this phantom is the phantom of a vacationer that was murdered while driving through Iuka some decades ago. A lady with her head and both arms cut off has repeatedly been seen in Blackard Hollow late in the night screaming at the eye witness to go away. An armed forces outfit staggering around lacking a body in it has allegedly been spotted on a handful of instances in Burnsville Overlook Area around midnight pulling a cadaver across the dirt. Lots of residents allege this ghost is that of a person who had a house here in Iuka a long time ago. Anyway, it's a menacing ghost that you wouldn't want to encounter at midnight.
