Jackson, Mississippi Ghost Tales | |
|
Not sure what kind of story this is. We moved into a house down by Dennerys. We found out later it was known as the HOODO house. Any way my grandson was three. He is a gifted child and talked very well. We always felt strange there but he had a friend. One day he told us the whole neighbor hood would burn escept our old Apt. next door. We ask who said this and he said his friend told him. We ask who his friend was and he told us. A man had been killed there on a bridge by two women. He was buried below what was then our house. He came up and went to Heaven. We moved to Fairhope. Two years later we went to Jackson---the neighbor hood had burned. Our old Apt. was there. This was in the Belhaven area. Submitted by Lou
I was out on Tuesday morning, February 5 in the woods of my hunting club in Elton. It was early in the morning, and I had been in the woods for just a little while. Out of the corner of my right eye, I caught sight of a shadomy figure. When I turned my head to look, I saw that it was a form of a man about my hight. He was wearing a confederate

soldier's hat. I then noticed that he was walking at the exact same pace as me. He was only there for a little while, a few seconds at most, then vanished. There have been strange bursts of energy in those woods, sudden emotions to pop into your mind-anger, unprovoked and unexplainable, leave you feeling violent and outraged. Then leave...as soon as
