Lumberton, Mississippi Ghost Tales

By day Lumberton, Mississippi is equal to any other American settlement, but the ghost stories told by the residents are enough to make anybody think again about stopping over in this place. A lot of spirit sightings have been reported by the locals. Several locals claim there are no spirits, but there really are scary things going on here in Lumberton during
 
    the night.

These are some of the spooky things that have happened here recently.

An enormously menacing ghost came into view dragging a dead body across the dirt in Little
  Black Creek Water Park before sunrise. This individual ghost has been spotted repeatedly in this spot. Whichever way, it's a bloodcurdling ghost that you wouldn't want to meet at midnight.

The phantom of an elderly gold digger with a big beard and a hook instead of his right hand was perceived guzzling paint in Boggy Hollow at night. There have been numerous tales with reference to this ghost in the vicinity.

The ghost of a waitress was observed at Burnt Reed Brake late at night hurling pieces of wood into the flowing water. Additional reports of this ghost have been reported.

The
ghost of an old cleaning lady has frequently been spotted at Bass Pecan Plant Pond Dam in the early morning hours before sunrise looking at the vista. In any event, it in all certainty is a menacing spirit that any wise person wouldn't want to come across.

The phantom of a young female clad as a house keeper is frequently perceived in a Lumberton area clothing store, walking the aisles.

The ghost of a young cowboy has been distinguished on a handful of occasions at Paul B. Johnson State Park hauling a headbone. Whatever people express, this ghost sure is terrifying; one that you shouldn't go trying to locate.
