Madison, Mississippi Ghost Sightings
As I was walking home I got on Post Oak and it was around 6:40 pm. I was walking down the road and as I was walking I looked into a field and I said to myself '' what is there, is a ghost in that field? '' I kept walking and 3 minutes later I heard a little girl's laugh to my left by a house near the woods with bars on the windows and doors.|
I didn't see anything but I ran. Then I looked back and there was a cloudy like figure of a girl walking
right where I heard the laugh and then she disappeared.|

There is an old white church on highway 463. It is said to be haunted by a ghostly bride who fell down a staircase. On her wedding day her fiancÚ was murdered and she found out the day of their wedding.
People say she still haunts the church grounds looking for her lost fiance. I have seen her once in my 12 years of living in Madison. She has a long white wedding dress and brown hair. She has a sorrow look on her face.
I only caught a quick glimpse of her but she was indeed a woman.

Comment by Lee: The church is chapel of the cross. The true story is that yes... There was a young lady who was engaged to a man. The man had died of an illness while away on business overseas. The young woman was inconsolable.
