I lived in Okolona for a few years and woke up one night to a woman with a burned looking face and blonde long hair looking over me. The ghost of the driver of a train was witnessed covering a cadaver by a sizeable boulder in Wilson Park in       the early morning hours before sunrise. The observer fled right after he spotted the ghost. The ghost of a youthful woman with a wire around her neck was spotted enjoying the view at Anderson   Lake Dam after midnight. When the eye witness came into view the phantom ran away. An extraordinarily chilling ghost was observed in a secluded zone in the vicinity of Okolona. The appearance of the bystander frightened the spirit who then faded away. One of the residents confidently claims that this phantom enjoys terrifying foolish people who are bold enough to disturb the silence in Okolona. The phantom of an elderly prospector with a sizeable mustache and a wooden left leg has regularly been distinguished dispatching a package at an Okolona post office. Some of the people who live here claim this phantom can be the spirit of a local resident who passed on here in Okolona some time ago. The spirit of an elderly woman grasping a revolver is regularly observed guzzling regular unleaded from a pump at a fueling station in Okolona. Regardless of what people articulate, this spirit undoubtedly is terrifying; one that should be kept away from. The ghost of a flight attendant has been said to have been spotted on a small number of occasions by the entrance to Tombigbee State Park having a burger.
