I used to work the nightshift in the Pearl Wal-Mart before it closed down. I quickly find out about the strange things that went on inside after closing time. I frequently heard someone calling my name when no one was anywhere near me, things were knocked off of shelves, and then people started to appear from nowhere. One woman was working by herself in an isle, when a man, clad in a black trenchcaot-like raincoat and black hat appeared behind her, tapped her shoulder, and asked for road directions. She gave him the directions, and turned back to her work. Then she remembered that the store had been closed for nearly two hours. She looked all around, but he was nowhere to be found...no one else had seen him.

There's not a single thing peculiar regarding Pearl, Mississippi while the sun is shining, but this neighborhood has a fine share of ghosts. Loads of ghost sightings have been exposed by the residents. Folks who have never stayed for a few days in this town will say to you it's all just superstition,

The spirit of a young-looking female in a bloody wedding gown has now and then been distinguished at Cofo Lake Dam late at night looking at the panorama. Residents here who have perceived this phantom say this phantom could be the soul of a local resident who passed on here in Pearl some decades ago.
A decapitated lady is every so often noticed hurling rocks on the shore of Lake Patterson.
The phantom of a 10 foot high colossal guy can every now and then be spotted fluttering across Bald Prairie before dawn. Folks here argue that this ghost could be a famous old days local of Pearl. One thing is for sure, this is an unlikable ghost that any commonsensical person wouldn't want to run into.
The ghost of a teen girl was perceived by Harris Lake obliterating a hat. This is one of those ghosts that is perceived frequently in close proximity. In any event, it's a frightening phantom
