Most of the folks who live here in Richland, Mississippi are joyfully uninformed of the terrible mysteries this town possesses; this town has chilling mysteries hidden in the dark. Objects move around, words coming from no-place. Not everyone has faith in the testimonies the people who live here tell, but the ghosts of Richland are out tonight seeking somebody to scare.
These are some of the spooky things that have happened here recently.
The phantom of an aged lady clutching a revolver was spotted by Le Fleur Bluff guzzling blood from a mug. The eye witness was frightened and ran away. Scores of people who live here claim this phantom may be the spirit of a local person who died here in Richland many years ago.
The ghost of an old Indian chief appeared surveying the surroundings from the summit of Bailey Hill at the stroke of midnight. The ghost did not

Folks here assert that this ghost is probably the undeceased ghost of a local who used to have a home here in Richland.
The ghost of a youthful cowboy has repeatedly been noticed in Battlefield Park in the early morning hours before sunrise reading a pamphlet.
The spirit of a copper-miner has allegedly been witnessed on frequent occasions climbing out of Harris Lake soaked in filth at the stroke of midnight.
The phantom of a guy dressed as a handy man can repeatedly be perceived articulating into the night as if someone besides was near. A local resident argues that this ghost is the undead spirit of a long forgotten Richland local.
