Alamo, Tennessee Ghost Tales


Not everything in Alamo, Tennessee is as it seems; there are weird things occurring in this settlement in the moonlight hours. The ghosts of this town don’t leave anyone unscared. Disbelievers don't trust in the local ghost tales, but seeing is believing and if you spend a night here in Alamo, you may well spot a ghost.

A woman with
  her head and both arms amputated came into sight covering a dead body by a big rock in Oakview Memorial Park before dawn. The observer escaped right after she saw the ghost.

The ghost of a gentleman holding a bloody spear was seen on an Alamo lane at the stroke of midnight. The ghost was indifferent that there was someone other near. Several of the people who live here allege this ghost is in all probability the stressed ghost of a local person who used to live here in Alamo.

A soldier's outfit marching around with no body in it appeared verbalizing into the thin air up on the highest spot
of Horns Bluff. When the watcher appeared the phantom ran away. It has been alleged that this particular phantom is the undead spirit of a long gone Alamo local person.

The ghost of a terribly burned female was witnessed looking across Mound Field at night. The arrival of the witness startled the ghost who then vanished.

The ghost of a man with letters engraved into his cheek was made out at Bells Aerated Lagoon Number One Dam at night carrying a human headbone. The spirit mumbled about revenging a murder. One thing is for sure, it certainly is a frightening ghost that you shouldn't go searching for.

The ghost of the driver of a train has repeatedly been observed before sunrise floating by on Buck Creek. Anyway, this ghost undoubtedly is frightening; one that is preferably not upset.
