Birchwood, Tennessee Ghost Tales When I was visiting my dad in kentucky, his wife crispy had a husband named dale and they got in a big fight and he over dosed on pills and killed himself. When crispy came back to the house she found him sitting on his knees in the hallway on a rug. Now the people that live there say they hear footsteps through the hallways and hear a man talking at night time. He is probably not a mean spirit but just wants his family back in the house. Submitted by Kelcey       Category: home One day I and my friend mogan were taking pictures of a so called haunted house. We took a picture of the window that we were closest to. We did not see anything in the window at the time. We also took a picture of the screened in porch on the front of the house. We zoomed in on the picture of the window, and we saw a little boy holding a baby. We showed it to my mom, and she said that she saw it too. We showed her the picture of the screened in porch. We zoomed in on that too. There was a manly figure behind the       door. There were also 2 other figures with him. I live on defriese rd. in birchwood tn. I live behind Mcinturf cemetery. My family as well as several others,have   encounterd screams, it sounds like a woman then will begin to scream and wimper like a child. Whatever it is has been heard here for over 100 years that Iknow of. On MCintruff RD. I can look out my front door and see the cematary. My dads brother used to stay the night at my dads house .Which is directly behind my house and would hear kncking in the walls, and door. When I built here I started hearing knocking on my front door. When Iwould check there would be no one there. I would go outside and look no one would be there. My husband then started to hear it. When my aunt moved on the property, she did as well. My best freind and I were taking a swim in my parents pool one night. The pool was under the outdoor lighting. We began to see a transparent entity circling the pool. We where scared to death and we couldnt get out fast enough. It is very active here.
