My husband who never believed in ghosts told me later that some of the ''fog'' we walked through was cold and not fog. On our way out he and the girls were talking pictures and I saw a man wave to me and tip his hat.
No one saw a man but me. I truly believe the park is haunted, but not in a bad way. The many soldiers that died there just wanted us to know they were there.

When I was real young probably before kindergarten maybe early Elementary School age my mom moved out to Chattanooga Tennessee since she had family there. I still lived back in California with my dad as they divorced. On one summer vacation we took a plane to visit my mother over the month break from school. During that month in Chattanooga Tennessee I had some of the most vivid and scary experiences I will remember for the rest of my life.
These experiences included nightmares and visions of these nightmares manifesting themselves in the real realm when I was awake. I could not ever be alone in a room alone. I would always run to my mother wherever I was. Whenever I was alone in a room I felt a haunting vibe and would see what would be a ghost appear. I just could not take it. It was too scary for me. I had to be near my mother, and anytime I was around her this ghost would go away. It would happen so blatantly. I couldn't explain what was happening. I was too young to really articulate what was happening to me.
My mother just knew I couldn't be alone. I had a nightmare that repeated itself. It was of my mother lying on a hospital bed, and I walked up to her. It turned around, and the face was a horrifying thing. Then it would proceed to chase me through the hospital until we got outside, and I got in a car. Then it would walk in front of the car and shoot at me, and I was dead, and that was how the dream would end. When I was awake sometimes would see that creature or other smaller ones about my size. .
