Custom Search Cookeville, Tennessee Ghost Sightings Cookeville PAGE 1   2   3     On a lonely road called Edgewood DR. there was a house, burnt down by the local fire Dept. because of the rampant ''ghost watchers'' and teens partying at the site. Before the house burnt down many strange things happened in and around the old building. A purple lady was seen in the upstairs window, a strange black doglike form wandered the road, a headless deer was somehow placed over 20ft up in a large tree next to the     house. Those who visited the house (or surrounding area) got a over powering feeling of dread and hate. The only thing that is know about the house is that a young boy named ''Daniel'' lived there and he was sick from something. Many cards were found in the house wishing him a speedy recovery. Also, the only trees that would grow around area were cypress trees. Lights were also seen in the woods across the street, and can indeed still be viewed there well after sunset. There is a darker story that has surfaced about the decapitated hog house across the street.   (continued on the next page...)
