Crossville, Tennessee Ghost Sightings
Late one evening after work I was coming down Highland Road in Crossville, TN and passed a grave yard noticing something standing by a tombstone. I slowed my vehicle and noticed it walking away from the tombstone, but it didn't walk. It seemed to just float.|

The slaughter house is located in Morgan County, Tennessee. This is my account of my experience in the slaughter house. I can honestly say I will never return. One Saturday a couple of friends and myself were looking for haunted places to go. I heard from multiple people about the slaughter house. My friends and I decided to check it out. Legend says that the old butcher that ran the slaughter house went insane and committed suicide upstairs. The family of the butcher sold the place to a family. Everything was okay at first. Then the family started experiencing paranormal activity.
One day the family was gathered in the living room. There was a loud noise coming from the kitchen. The husband and wife walked into the kitchen, and the cabinets were opening and slamming on their own. Horrified the wife took the kids outside, and standing on the porch was the old butcher in a white shirt covered in blood. The wife yelled for the husband, and they left. Many, many years passed, and the house ran down. The day my friends and I visited the house will be a day I will never forget. We walked in the old slaughter house immediately feeling the darkness radiating from the house. It was night time. We made our way upstairs and scoped out the rooms. We split up, myself and my friend John and Jarrod and Anthony.
After a few minutes there were loud noises coming from one of the rooms. John and myself went to investigate. We came to the kitchen, and the cabinets were opening and slamming on their own just like the story says.
We ran out of the room and met Jarrod and Anthony. They told us their account of seeing a shadow on the wall. Brushing it off, we looked more. Jarrod and Anthony went to look out back where the pigs were kept. My light went out, and John was trying to fix it.
Anthony came in and took the light from John. All he said was ''here,'' and he walked away. (We didn't think anything of it until we went home. ) I asked for my light back, and he said he never had it. It turns out he never came inside.
