Erin, Tennessee Ghost Tales

We used to live in a house on fussel lane and it seemed liked every night we would hear someone or something walking in the basement. The house was the third or fourth from the right .It was a creamed color house whenever we came home the basement and all the doors and windows in the house would be open !! If i were you do not move into that house. This is a true story. One night my father was up watching television and he heared something run up the steps, so he ran to the basement then waited a few minutes then opened the door and there was no one there if you don't believe me then stay in the house
for two days or even move in the house.

The ghost of a planter sporting a farmer hat can often be witnessed ascending out from a storm drain on an Erin residential street at the stroke of midnight. Some of the folks who live in this town claim this ghost is perhaps the struggling
ghost of a local who used to reside here in Erin.

A youthful girl sporting a blood-splattered wedding dress can be made out very often hurling stones into the stream at Averitt Branch at night.
