Franklin, Tennessee Ghost Tales My dad and I were at the Carter house tour in December in 2008. We had just finished the tour, and the tour guide had locked the doors except on that he had put a brick in front to take care of later. We were walking back to the visitors center and a door slammed. We looked back, and the door was closed but no one was there. Then I saw a figure walking slowly away dressed in a confederate uniform with no head. I had never believed in ghosts but now I do kind of .
