Georgetown, Tennessee Ghost Tales When I was in Florida with my grandma she told me a story about when she was a kid her mom was looking for a house. She found one so her and her friend was looking at the attic while the mom was talking to the lady about the house. She left the attic door open but as they started to look around it slammed shut they went to open it they couldn't open it, but finally it opened and they ran out. My mama said that her mom didn't get it. Things go on in this town that can't be explained. Not everybody believes in the reports the local residents tell, but if you dare to spend a night in Georgetown, you could see a ghost for yourself. These are some of the spooky things that have happened here recently. The phantom of a guy sporting a police outfit has often been observed swallowing chlorine down next to the waterfront at Wolf       Pond. Either way, it's sure a creepy ghost that is rather not messed with. The ghost of a security guard with a bullet hole in his forehead has allegedly been perceived on several instances down next to Anderson Spring before sunrise smoking a cigar. The spirit of an elderly guy with a long gray mustache may repeatedly be witnessed striding   through a building in Georgetown. A number of of the people here claim this ghost likes terrifying folks who are bold enough to disturb the quiet in Georgetown. The ghost of a guy wearing soldier's attire can be seen over and over again on the summit of Barger Knob before dawn surveying the surroundings.
