Greenfield, Tennessee Ghost Tales I have seen ghosts in my house every night early morning. I see shadows often when no one is home. Our doors sometimes lock and unlock themselves. The attic windows have broken. The lights fall out of the ceiling. I am scared and we are moving. I live on hwy 124 greenfield tn. Loads of ghost sightings have been told by the locals. Folks who have never spent the night in this town will tell you it's untrue, but if you have the courage to stay an extra day in Greenfield, you could distinguish a ghost for yourself. These are some of the spooky things that have happened here recently. The spirit of a man grasping a sword has frequently been observed by Bradford Creek reading a newsletter. Many locals say this spirit is the spirit of a traveler that was murdered while passing through Greenfield some decades ago. A woman with maggots crawling out of       her nostrils has been said to have been perceived on several occasions strolling next to a desolate highway near Greenfield. The phantom of a female with a knife in her heart may often be noticed taking pleasure in the view at Mud Creek Watershed Dam Number Seventeen at night. The phantom of a tied up female can be witnessed time and   again in Big Cypress Tree State Park late in the night concealing a cadaver by a large boulder. One thing is for certain, it certainly is a frightening ghost that should be let alone. A female grasping her head by her arm has sometimes been noticed right by the entrance to Big Cypress Tree State Park struggling to capture something. Whichever way, this spirit sure is frightening; one that is rather not upset.
