Hixson, Tennessee Ghost Tales I SAW A GHOST INT THE BASEMENT OF A HOME WE RENTED IN HIXSON TN IN THE EARLY 1980. HE WAS HANGING IN A BSEMENT WITH A DARK BLUE UNIFORM ON, HE HAD GLASSES AND DARK HAIR. HE WAS HANGING ABOVE MY DRYER AND VERY TALL. I SAW HIM TWICE. WE WERE TOLD BY THE NEIGHBORS UPON FURTHER INVESTIGATION THAT A MAN HAD HUNG HIMSELF IN EXACT LOCATION AND COULD ALMOST TOUCH THE FLOOR HE WAS SO TALL. WE MOVED!THIS WAS A LIFE CHANGING EVENT FOR ME. HE NEVER MOVED --WAS JUST THERE!!!. There have been a lot of encounters with things from the other side. Not everybody has faith in the accounts the locals tell, but there really are frightening things going down here in Hixson in the moonlight hours. These are some of the spooky things that have happened here recently. The ghost of a guy clad as a plumber is       every now and then noticed trying on shoes in a Hixson flat. A female with a fairly translucent body has supposedly been observed on several instances surveying the scenery from the apex of Bald Hill late in the night. The ghost of a security guard with a bullet hole in his forehead can occasionally be observed nosing around in mailboxes   late at night in Hixson. The ghost of an aged man with a large white mustache was spotted on the shore of Chickamauga Lake going crazy. When the bystander emerged the ghost fled. The ghost of a guy dressed in soldier's attire showed up next to Barker Spring around midnight tossing chunks of concrete. The arrival of the watcher frightened the ghost who then faded away. A woman with a machete sticking out of her head was made out hollowing out a crack in Booker T Washington State Park in the early morning hours before sunrise. The observer got freaked out and ran away. One of the folks who live here determinedly declares that this phantom enjoys terrifying foolish folks who come trying to find phantoms in Hixson. The spirit of a lady with a sack strapped around her head came into view devastating a box down near the water at Buzzard Point. The ghost did not appear to be anxious by the viewers. A partially transparent gentleman clothed as the captain of a craft was distinguished performing a tune on a xylophone in a Hixson flat. The ghost greeted the observer. Anyway, it's a frightening ghost that you do not want to meet after midnight.
