La Grange, Tennessee Ghost Tales | |
|
When I was teaching in Selmer, Tennessee, in 1975, I was driving home at night to the east of town where a famous mansion is and saw a Confederate officer, hatless and on horseback beside a tree. I put on my breaks and swung my car around only to find nothing there. I am not superstitious. Later, I was told that the house was used as a hospital during the Civil War. Has anyone else seen this?. Submitted by Dr. Thomas Suggs
