A strapping young boy, once walking his horse, through a graveyard in Mt.Gilead, in the early morn, came upon a small forlorn girl who stated that she was trying to find her way home. The boy tried to help the young child, then later discovered her grave amongst many of her family members who had passed away in the Early 1900's, it is said that if you walk there late at night, you may hear her calling to her mother. Lexington, Tennessee is just a normal place while the sun is shining, but the ghost testimonies conveyed by the residents are enough to make anybody re-evaluate spending a night around here.
