Madisonville, Tennessee Ghost Sightings
I've always attracted paranormal spirits and odd happenings. My father never believed it till he saw it for himself with me. We both saw it. I told him you can't deny it now, and he didn't know what to say. Sometimes things can't be explained. I don't understand a lot of what I see, but I know it is real.|

Well one day I was riding by Donnas Old Town Cafe, you now the one in the town. Well I was riding by there at night; it was supposed to be closed, and when I glanced at it I could have sworn I saw man standing inside, but when I looked back I saw nothing was there. I'll go ahead and tell you this ain't the first time something has happened in that diner.

Across the road from Donna's Cafe sits the old Keafauver Hotel. There have been numerous reports of sightings, hearing footsteps, and voices. The building is currently an antique shop owned by a good friend of mine. A lady that used to work there came face to face with a spirit. Not knowing that the person in front of her was a ghost, she walked towards the back of the store. She turned around and saw he was gone. When she asked the owner who was near the entrance if somebody had left the store, she said no.
Later they found an old picture from the pool hall that was downstairs. In that picture was the man she saw (who was the owner of the pool hall) who had died many years ago. There are also rumors of a murder that happened in the basement and an accident with the buildings boiler. The story of the boiler is that there was a worker who must have turned the wrong knob or undone a pipe and burned himself badly with the steam. In the basement near the boiler is a natural spring that he was dragged to and where the other workers tried to cool his face. He was then taken to a room upstairs and died shortly after. People often feel nervous or anxious around the boiler and deeply saddened next to the spring. I myself felt depressed next to the spring and even began to cry.
