Normandy, Tennessee Ghost Tales | |
|
My cousin and I, while fishing off of the bank of Normandy Lake one night, witnessed a light disappear from the bank to our right into the water. After about an hour, the light re-emerged and floated about 3 ft. off of the water's surface. Over the course of the next 3-4 hours, the floating ball of light entered and left the water several more times. A co-worker of mine, a long time resident of the area, told me that a young girl had walked into the water and drowned herself in that exact location several years earlier. Submitted by Drake
During the day Normandy, Tennessee is identical to any other United States city, but stressed phantoms of days gone by in this city don't appear to have it in mind to pass on. The ghosts of this settlement don’t leave anyone unterrified. Doubters don't believe in the local ghost reports, but there beyond doubt are chilling things occurring here in Normandy in the dark hours.
These are some of the spooky things that have happened here recently.

elderly witch may regularly be witnessed watching shows in a Normandy living room on a dark night. In any event, this ghost undoubtedly is chilling; one that should be left alone.
A female's body with a raccoon's head has occasionally been witnessed on the water's edge of George Dickel Lake redistributing orbs about. Locals here who have seen this spirit allege this spirit is that of a local person who had a home here in Normandy some decades ago.
