A number of local residents declare these descriptions are lies, but the ghosts of Parsons are out tonight looking for someone to scare. These are some of the spooky things that have happened here recently. A guy with a big hole through his chest has regularly been seen floating down Adams Branch on a dark night. Some of the people here assert this ghost may be the spirit of a local resident who died here in Parsons long ago. A female's body with a goat's head is frequently made out       pointing at the watcher in Campbell Hollow in the early morning hours. One thing is for sure, this is an intimidating ghost that you wouldn't wish to come across in the early morning hours before sunrise. A man with the head of a goblin has purportedly been witnessed on a handful of instances taking in the scenery at Lewis Lacy Dam Number Two   very late at night. A fairly rotten human body can frequently be noticed looking over Bateman Bottom late in the night. According to the people who live here, this ghost is probably the struggling ghost of a local resident who used to reside here in Parsons. The ghost of a planter dressed in a hat has every so often been spotted in the rear seat of a Chevy by the driver observing the ghost in his rear view mirror very late at night. Based on what the folks who live here claim, this ghost is the struggling spirit of a former Parsons person who lived here. The spirit of a youthful air force pilot is known to have been spotted on frequent instances around midnight checking out Alley Bluff. A woman with a blue-green face can sometimes be spotted drinking blood from a beaker in Alley Bluff Tennessee Valley Authority Wild Area late at night. A guy with a spear in his head was observed laundering a blood-splattered shirt in Bluff Spring at night. The eye witness got scared and ran away. The ghost of a mail carrier was seen gardening in the back garden of a building in Parsons. The ghost didn't appear to be troubled by the eye witnesses.
