boot steps walking across our kitchen floor. I knew I was doomed. I tried to play it off by walking out of my room with a smile and ''how was your day?'' When I walked out of my room, No one was there. I looked and looked and yelled for anyone to answer me.....no answer. I then checked all of the doors in our house. Not one bedroom door was closed, only closet doors. The front and back doors were open, but the screen doors

were shut. To this day I'll never know who that was walking towards my room in the kitchen, but never once in my life did I have that kind of
|
experience before that moment, and I hope to never deal with that again. Also, the man, Jack, had planted a long row of buttercups all the way down our driveway, before we bought the house, that was something that drew us to it...the beautiful flowers. After we moved in (in the fall) those buttercups never bloomed again...until the week we moved out (in the summertime).
