Comment by anonymous: The middle building was only rebuilt in the front. Yes, it's a teacher that haunted Soddy Elementary. One upstairs room rear right side last room by the stairs had numerous things happened in there. This spirit still walks the new building. She's not a good spirit. The whole area around the school and its remaining 1930s building are haunted. Civil War to Indian spirits.

Live near the high school's back entrance. My house sits on 2 acres and is near 400 acres of woods. In the summer evenings you can hear what sounds like Indians chanting. I have often seen up on the hill near my house and walking through my yard an extremely tall Indian man looking at me.

See him mostly at dusk or right after the sun sets over Mowbray Mountain. He has gentle eyes and gives me a sense that he is protecting my house and family.
