If you talk to the local residents, this ghost is the       struggling soul of a long departed Wartrace resident. The frightening ghost of a conquistador has allegedly been witnessed on a few occasions struggling to grasp something up on Caruthers Hill. According to what the folks who live here declare, this ghost is that of a person who dwelled here in Wartrace some time ago.
