Whiteside, Tennessee Ghost Tales My grandmother, Minnie Dagnan Reel told me the story of growing up in Whiteside (Egypt Holler).  There were rumors of a ghost going down the dry creek bed behind their house.  Several kids (she was one) decided to check it out.  It was said a ghost was floating along the rocks.  The night they scoped the area out..they did find something.  It was a white GOAT..I could see where at night a GOAT walking that creek bed would look like a ghost floating on top of the rocks.  Needless to say they were disappointed that it wasn't a ghost.
