We all saw it and it seems it could have been a ghost. It may be worthy of a paranormal investigation. Submitted by Bradly

I lived there in the late 70's, near the school by Tomahawk Lane. When I was about 5 a little girl asked me to run away with her. When I went inside to get some things she was gone. It wasn't until much later in life I remembered her skin color was pale and she had dark circles under her eyes. Her dress was very old and she seemed very sad. She came back several times but would always disappear when my mother would come outside.

I was with three friends when I saw and herd the drummers from the battle coming my way. And I heard the cannons and the Indians running through the woods. I would recommend going there. Submitted by anonymous
Comment by Jo: We own the Burnett Trading Post and have experienced this same thing on our property. The battle did take place on our property. I would like to talk to you about this.
