Bloomington, Indiana Ghost Tales This may not have anything to do with Bloomington in particular but I live in Bloomington and recently I was effected by a spirit in a very insane way. I was sleeping one night when a spirit came in contact with me and ripped the sheets off of my bed and made me extremely hot. In addition to the other things that the spirit did to me it also prevented me from getting up or moving, for those few moments where it was in contact with me in my mind I wanted to get up and scream but I was not able to. It was one of the scariest things that has ever happened to me and since this event similar things have happened as well. It's all too creepy for me and I wish I had some answers as to my sighting. The undeceased are in this municipality as the folks who live here will declare. Disbelievers don't have faith in the local ghost tales, but the undeparted souls of Bloomington are all too real. These are some of the spooky things   that have happened here recently. The ghost of an elderly witch has supposedly been observed on numerous instances in Allens Creek State Recreation Area very late at night pulling a dead body through some bushes. A gentleman with a big hole through his upper body may every so often be seen at the stroke of midnight drifting by on Allens Creek. Folks who have made out this ghost argue this ghost may be a well-known days gone by local of Bloomington. A lady's body with a lizard's head has regularly been witnessed in a mirror in a Bloomington home; the ghost was exclusively detectable in the mirror. A local person asserts that this spirit is in all probability the stressed spirit of a resident who used to reside here in Bloomington. A partly rotten human dead body is frequently distinguished looking for a book underneath a parked Dodge in a Bloomington parking lot on a dark night. Several people argue this ghost is the tormented soul of a long forgotten Bloomington person who lived here. Well, it's a scary ghost that you shouldn't go seeking.
