Folks who have never stayed for the night in this municipality will say to you it's all just superstition, but the spirits of Brownstown are out tonight searching for somebody to terrify. These are some of the spooky things that have happened here recently. The ghost of a young-looking cowboy is sometimes perceived watching cable in a Brownstown living room very late at night. A local resident argues that this spirit is the undeparted soul of an old Brownstown resident. A frightening creature is rumored to have been       made out on frequent occasions hiding a body by a sizeable rock in Camp Pyoca before dawn. The ghost of a zinc-miner can once in a while be perceived in Jackson-Washington State Forest before sunrise howling at a rock. Regardless of what, this is an intimidating ghost that you don't want to bump into in the early morning hours. A woman   with a moderately transparent body was witnessed staring at the sight from the peak of Pinnacle around midnight. The ghost didn't seem to be scared by the eye witnesses. Whatever people express, it is in all certainty a creepy spirit that any sound person wouldn't want to meet. The ghost of a security guard with a bullet hole in his forehead showed up mounding stones in Starve Hollow after midnight. The ghost acknowledged the presence of the viewer. One of the residents decisively says that this ghost is the ghost of a visitor that was murdered while driving through Brownstown a long time ago. The spirit of an elderly guy with a huge gray mustache was witnessed burning a glove by Ballard Creek. When the phantom was perceived it vanished into the night. The ghost of a man sporting an army uniform materialized at Hillview Lake Dam before dawn looking at the view. The ghost was ingested by the thin air after being made out. Several of the residents claim this phantom is that of a local resident who dwelled here in Brownstown some time ago. One thing's for sure, this spirit certainly is bloodcurdling; one that you shouldn't go trying to find.
