Custom Search Brownsville, Indiana Ghost Sightings Brownsville PAGE 1   2     I am an artist and regularly travel the wayne/union/fayette/franklin counties scouring for Likely locations to paint. I don't know of any specific incidents in or around Brownsville (i'm not from there nor do I know anyone there) but every time I have ever been in the vicinity of Brownsville I get a strange feeling of being constantly watched. This actually begins on the Hillside (coming from the east) as I am heading down into     the town just before I Cross the Railroad tracks. Once in the town itself I notice a quiet strangeness to the aura of the entire community that is somewhat unsettling. It is difficult to describe but I get the impression that Energy is trapped down there in the lower part of the area: where the town itself is. This seems to me not connected with a dwelling or building specifically but with the land area. I have gotten other “sensations” from places but nothing quite like this. It doesn't feel exactly malevolent but it strikes me as though it could be if it   (continued on the next page...)
