Custom Search Cannelton, Indiana Ghost Sightings Cannelton PAGE 1   2     In the late of night or very Early morning on warm summer nights one can sometimes see what seems to be people walking along the Washington Street sidewalks. They are dressed in clothes from the late 19th Century or Early 20th century. Not really sure which 19th or 20th maybe both. I have seen this Many times. They do not seem to see anyone but just walk by either alone or with someone. Once I observed 5 individuals     laughing and talking as they walk down towards the river. They seem to be strolling or strolling and talking to each other when there are more than one. The ghosts of Cannelton are in Many of the old buildings and along it's old streets. They do not seem lost but seem to be still living in the past that is long gone. On foggy warm nights the mist in the air makes it easier to see them.
