Carmel, Indiana Ghost Tales My mother believes, but is not quite certain that she had seen a ghost near that Diva's Salon.  She said she saw an old pink Corvette with a driver come out of the bushes and then she looked back and it wasn't there.  There are no other roads it could have turned onto.  It doesn't sound harmful but it does seem quite mysterious. . Locals who have noticed this ghost argue this ghost is the ghost of a traveler that was murdered while driving through Carmel long ago. Regardless of what folks articulate, this phantom undoubtedly is scary; one that you shouldn't go trying to find. The ghost of an elderly Indian chief may be made out very often trying to find somebody mid stream in Allison Run. The phantom of an aged cleaning lady has sometimes been made out looking at the water by Eagle Lake Dam before sunrise.
